Paws for Kids for Paws incorporated as an Illinois not-for-profit corporation in October 2017. In January 2018, we submitted the filings to gain 501(c)(3) status as a U.S. charity. On July 2, 2018, the IRS approved our application and recognized Paws for Kids for Paws as an exempt public charity:
