Koyuk, Elsa, and their friend Silver had a paw-sitive time at Churchville Middle School
today —and the impact was unforgettable. They interacted with at least 20 students, who worked on a lesson about dog communication, especially dog body language.
One student formed such a strong bond with Koyuk that she rolled over for belly rubs—
something she’s never done with anyone but Tricia in over 2 years!
Another student overcame her fear of dogs with the help of supportive classmates and
gave Elsa a loving pat before she left.
Another young leader built strength in his less confident peers with reassuring words: “You’re fine!” “That’s OK.” …
And of course, a few budding trainers helped teach Koyuk a new trick. 🐶✨
We’re so proud of these students. And yes… the doggos are now officially snoozing. 💤🐕
